Hélène Boulay grew up in Bathurst, New Brunswick but has called Ottawa home for nearly 10 years. A proud Acadian, francophone and feminist, she received a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Ottawa in 2012. Hélène worked as a language instructor in Spain and a tour guide at Juno Beach in France before returning to Canada to take up the position of coordinator of educational programs at Muséoparc Vanier. Hélène began working with Youth Ottawa in December 2016. She is passionate about the place of francophones in activism and how they interact on global media platforms.
